The client was looking for a showcase for the technical institute, RGBlink solution for the video wall processing was specified given the unique characteristics and size of the video wall with an ability to scale seamlessly across the massive 20-metres length and be integrated with the overall multi-touch solution. Video processing takes 16 4K input signals simultaneously from the media server outputting to 48 displays, with multiple processors slaved together and all video fully synchronised.
Main challenge was a tight implementation timetable and bringing together multiple technologies within the scope.
The THEI installation shows and an innovative modern approach presentation and education spaces with this very large scale interactive display leading the way in inspiring the possibilities for the next generation of graduates beyond the status quo.
